The Zeilstraat is a typical Scheveningen street with fishermen's houses and friendly neighbors who know and help each other. The one way street has a tram stop just around the corner and is quiet. The district has a varied group of residents and is a friendly part of Scheveningen where people know each other and help when necessary. The short distance to the beach and the sea and the fast connections (by bicycle, car or public transport) to the center and arterial roads make it a popular area to live. Within walking distance you will find 2 supermarkets and the lively Keizerstraat with various restaurants and shops. There are various attractions in the area such as museums (city museum, statues by the sea, Muzee, Sealife), the pier, the boulevard, Holland casino, the theater and much more. Scheveningen has many fun events such as Flag Day, the Volvo ocean race and Live on the Beach. In the Statenkwartier you will find the attractive Frederik Hendriklaan with its many restaurants and nice shops. There is always something to do. The nice thing about this place is that you live close to all these amenities. Behind the apartment is a picturesque part of old Scheveningen with many fishermen's houses and the prominent church at the end of Keizerstraat. Are you a surfer? Surfboards can be stored in the topfloor.
