Na 38 jaar verkopen wij ons huis waar wij met ons gezin met veel plezier hebben gewoond.
Onze kinderen zijn hier geboren en opgegroeid.
Onze vrijstaande woning van ongeveer 250 m2 is gelegen aan het einde van een doodlopende straat aan het zogenaamde “dokterslaantje”. De omgeving is rustig, groen en kindvriendelijk.

Verder is op ca 3 minuten fietsen winkelcentrum mariahoeve te vinden. Op 4 minuten lopen vindt u het Haagse Bos en Landgoed Marlot. Hier kunt u heerlijk wandelen. Paleis huis ten Bosch staat hier ook. In de wijk kunt u voetballen, fitness, zwemmen. Golf en Hockey zijn op enkele minuten rijden te vinden. Op korte afstand zijn er internationale scholen (Wassenaar en the British school of the Netherlands aan de Vlaskamp). Leuke oude centra van Voorburg en Wassenaar zijn op fietsafstand te vinden, evenals het grootste overdekte winkelcentrum van Nederland The Mall of the Netherlands. Het is ca 15 minuten fietsen naar Den Haag centrum. De N 14 ligt op 2 minuten rijden van de woning en brengt u snel naar Wassenaar, Scheveningen of de uitvalswegen naar Amsterdam, Leiden, Rotterdam en Utrecht. Openbaar vervoer is om de hoek aanwezig (bus 24 via centraal naar kijkduin). Op 1.4 km van de woning ligt treinstation Mariahoeve. Centraler kunt u niet wonen in Den Haag !

WONING
Begane grond/Tuin
De voortuin heeft een grote overkapping waaronder meerdere auto's geparkeerd kunnen worden. De woning heeft 2 voordeuren: 1 is de voormalige praktijkingang en de ander geeft toegang tot een ruime hal met veel lichtinval. In de hal is de trapopgang en een gastentoilet. U komt de woonkamer binnen en ervaart veel ruimte en licht. Door de uitbouw (2017 geplaatst) met vloerverwarming en veel glas (waaronder 3 daklichten) is er extra sfeer toegevoegd. Sfeer is er ook door de diverse haarden in de woning (in de woonkamer een open haard in de aanbouw een gashaard en en in de eenkamer een houtkachel). In de aanbouw is een airconditioning met warmtefunctie aangebracht in 2023. Vanuit de woonkamer loopt u door naar de keuken. Deze is grotendeels uit hardsteen opgetrokken. Er is een grote oven (twee compartimenten) met hierop een inductiekookplaat. In de bijkeuken staat een koelvriescombi, een vaatwasser en de cv ketel (remeha calenta ca. 2018). Vanuit de keuken loopt u naar de zeer ruime eetkamer (vroeger praktijdgedeelte). De eetkamer heeft een fraaie vouwpui die toegang geeft tot de veranda met overkapping. Our cracking house is for sale !
After 38 years of happy living, we have decided to put our detached, spacious (250 m2), modernised house on the market. It’s a family and entertainment’s dream.

Furthermore, the Mariahoeve shopping center is about a 3-minute bike ride away. The Haagse Bos (forrest) and Landgoed Marlot (estate) are a 4-minute walk away. You can enjoy lovely walks here. The Royal Palace is also located here. In the neighborhood you can play football, fitness and swimming. Golf and Hockey are a few minutes' drive away. There are international schools a short distance away (Wassenaar and the British school of the Netherlands at Vlaskamp). Nice old centers of Voorburg and Wassenaar are within cycling distance, as well as the largest indoor shopping center in the Netherlands, The Mall of the Netherlands. It is approximately 15 minutes by bike to The Hague center. The N 14 is a 2-minute drive from the house and quickly takes you to Wassenaar, Scheveningen or the main roads to Amsterdam, Leiden, Rotterdam and Utrecht. Public transport is around the corner (bus 24 via central to Kijkduin). Mariahoeve train station is 1.4 km from the house. There is no place more centrally located in The Hague!

THE HOUSE
Ground floor/Garden
The front garden has a large canopy under which several cars can be parked. The house has 2 front doors: 1 is the former practice entrance and the other gives access to a spacious hall with lots of light. In the hall there is a staircase and a (guest) toilet. You enter the living room and experience a lot of space and light. The extension (installed in 2017) with underfloor heating and lots of glass (including 3 skylights) has added extra atmosphere. There is always a good vibe in the house due to the various fireplaces (a fireplace in the living room, a gas fireplace in the extension and a wood stove in the one room). An air conditioning unit with a heating function has been installed in the extension in 2023. From the living room you can walk to the kitchen. This is largely made of bluestone. There is a large oven (two compartments) with an induction hob. In the utility room there is a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher and the central heating boiler (remeha calenta approx. 2018). From the kitchen you walk to the very spacious dining room (formerly a practice area). The dining room has a beautiful folding door that gives access to the veranda with canopy.
